I've been neglecting dA so much lately, and I'm talking about sumbitting stuff and replying to comments and some notes and a commission. I'm afraid that I must call that feature off, I'll just list people who were left off, they're worth checking out.


Anyway, I've been swamped with school work, and only been doing some minor drawings on the side, just for fun.
As for the Naruto fandom: just like *Jashin-chan I left it. I'm reading the manga just to see how it goes down the slippery slope, stopped watching and caring about the anime few months ago (and I'm not talking only about Naruto, but there are few exceptions, namely Miyazaki), and bought few doujinshis with Kakuzu and Hidan and sold few other ones.
Been playing TeamFortress2 in my free time. Truth to be told, I despised video games till now, especially (J)RPGs and MMORPGs (tried playing Ragnarok online at some point, but gathering false money or few hundred ore or some feathers or killing thousands of monsters isn't for me. TF2 is more like Lineage from what I've heard, you've got to stay close to the rest of your team (even if you're playing a Spy and/or Sniper), and balance out their weaknesses. So far it's been *tons* of fun (plus silly hats are in there for free ). <3
Anyway, as far as vidya games go, I'll probably check out Portal too. I like games where you have to think.

Anyway... any requests for new drawings? Inb4 Kakuhida, lol.

First of all, thanks for the answers in previous journal, you've made some interesting points.
It's been a busy week, and I still got a lot to do. Sorry for no new drawings, but I might scan my plain-air watercolor works in a few days, plus there's one digital work coming up.
Anyhoo. Since I was featured by ~Shadowisper, and I'm finally able to do this, I ask you for one thing: the magnificent 7 (this feature is going to be divided by 2) - first seven people to comment on this journal will get a feature of three of their works chosen by me (with description on why I've chosen them in the first place). Sorry - no sub no thumbs, but it's still a feature. The next part is going to be announced as soon as I'll find more time (but since uni starts next week it's going to be hard to find said free time :/).



[link] - really nice fanart of Saint Seiya, it looks very... saint. I've got a feeling that I'm viewing a detailed drawing which is going to be turned into a stained glass one day. Well, I for one wouldn't mind a stained glass with a bunch of naked guys on it.

[link] Even if I don't like GaaNaru, this is again a very nice drawing with cool, modern designs of well known characters. Plus the whole concept of this drawing is interesting.

[link] - I don't know a thing about these OCs, but this is another reason to prove that your style is unique and eyecatching. You just can't ignore the shiny! But it looks like it's a part of the picture and makes sense on top of that, and that's something to admire.



[link] - Robert Downey Jr. Need I say more? But seriously, guys. You should look at the details in it. Why it isn't appreciated more? It's mind boggling, just looking at every single facial hair painted here, and it looks very realistic.

[link] Haha, I'm kinda biased with this one. Sniper. Taking a shower. Guh. I'm not mentioning the good anatomy this drawing has, it speaks for itself.

[link] oh, I dig this one too! It's very minimalistic, only black and white, plus it's just a sketch. But it looks gorgeous! Very calm too.

Do you fave because of what's (i.e. fanart, pretty girl/boy etc.) on the drawing/photo you're viewing or rather 'cause of how it looks (details, amount of time/heart/effort spent on it is seen in this work)? Do you fave only popular, good looking works or unpopular ones which are looking great/not so great [depends on personal taste, really and sometimes the situation is completely reversed - crappy drawings from popular artists faved just because they're popular]?

I'm back. A bit tanned, lost few pounds and made few works which I kind of like. Gonna scan few of them tomorrow and upload here. Nature was beautiful there, I want to get back to that place alone or with family.
People were the worst part of this trip. Not all of them, you just had to know who to hang out with. Thankfully I was in the most 'normal' camping house. I've lost faith in people once more. I wanted to believe, that people in a place/academy like this one can be normal. Guess everything went down the drain at the end of first week. I really wanted to like these people, they were nice at first, but now they've shown their true nature. Talking behind other's back while knowing jackshit about the person they were talking about.
Why I'm so naive and why some people are so full of shit?

Also I need to make more money. Gonna try few things outside of dA.

Also I really really REALLY want to go to Australia. It's my dream for the past nine years.
