Messed up with the categories. Intentionally ;)
Was thinking about submitting it after the results of Avatar Anti or Pro Fire Nation Propaganda posters contest that's being held on avatarspirit.net till september 30th, but oh well. decided to go with the flow.
I liked how it ended up enough to show it here ;).
Don't ask me how effects were done, I don't remember ;_;. been on this all last night till six a.m. God bless low caffeine energy drinks.
Dedicated to all Zhaotards out there (including myself ;) ) and Pro Fire Nation fans =).
And I think I have an idea how Avatar might end... oh well. 20 episodes to go.

Zhao lives! =D

Behind the scenes: I wanted to make it as a part of a scene where there are propaganda posters on the walls in an alley of one Fire Nation cities, and Sokka is drawing a beard and a moustache just like Warhol did and then it was in one episode of Daffy Duck, and then he's being chased by a Fire Nation soldier who was registered thanks to one of these posters.
But then I thought why not leave it like this, like it's an old poster that hangs on a wall as a reminder of how powerful the Fire Nation was either in a Fire Native house or destroyed and forgotten in Sokkas or Kataras houses as a souvenir from their travel to the FN and reminder of days when the war was their older sister.
Or I've just drunk too much cactus juice. Oh well. Enjoy :).

The choice of colours almost gives it an old western look (and the hat too)- I don't mind it at all, It is really interesting!
And I like the added note for the additional campaign :D

Hah. Feeling like waiting for new Avatar episode :). And speaking of which, I watched The Awakening. It was fair, but too short. They got the main plot settled for third season and the animation was incredible, but some parts could've been done better ^^'.
Ah well. It was fun to watch.
I'm waiting for the rest of the episodes. You reckon there's gonna be a book four? Fans would eat Mike and Brian alive if they'd decide to stop on book three.
Hope they'll fill it with every character connected to the Fire Nation if not alive then in flashbacks ;).
Btw. read your comic in one take. It was awesome, I simply loved expressions and how you could make Zhao a 100% huggable bear in one panel and then a ferocious killer in another.
Will there be more? I'd love to read how it'll end :).
Loved the part with the hunt, and talking to ocean spirit, and fanservice =D (that part in hot springs was priceless). And the wase.
Heh. Would love to see it continued.

AH, the wonderful world of tv animation and its deadlines- let me tell ya, it is still one of the best animated shows on tv, in that style, produced in the US at this moment.
It could ALWAYS be better, so it goes with everything but...unless fans want to wait another year...
Bryan said they were done with the story of Aang in season 3, but not with the Avatar Universe. As to what shape these continuity would take, who knows: more shows? Straight to video thing? Books? Me don't know the plans.
Haha, glad you liked the Zhao AU (why do I like spending time on minor characters)- there will definitely be more.

Lol I know D:. This is the only show that I keep rewatching every once in a while, same goes for Beast Wars which was the achievement of last decade in cg animation for a TV show.
And Avatar is the only fandom I'm going to stick with like... forever I hope. I know how hard is to make a good animation, and Avatar is really something that stands out, not mentioning great characters :].
It's wonderful that all or most fans stayed with the show after the humongous 9 months break. I'm thrilled about the live action movie, I hope it'll be good or even better :>.
As a sidenote, these parts that weren't quite great were in this episode like for 30seconds or so altogether, but the rest was totally flawless and smooth. I enjoyed the backgrounds very, very much (the interiors and FN island. That was jawdropping). And expressions. That always amazes me.
Hah. As for another sidenote, Aang and Lina Inverse are the only likeable main characters (at least for me ;) ) out there. Of course the South Park gang and the Simpsons and Family Guy, but that's other story :).
I always pay more attention to secondary characters and background characters (look how much love Frothers recieved from the fandom :heart: ) =3.
Yes, give moar D:. I'd love to print every page and hang it on the wall (if I had space... I'd have to throw away all the books ;_;). Seriously.
Books? Now that's what I'd love to have =D.
